Lincoln Powers-The Lodge Legend
Lincoln, a Navy veteran with a 35-year software development career, is the kind of guy who’s seen it all—starting with the glory days at Microsoft in the '90s. Picture him with a pocket protector and a mullet, hacking away at the dawn of the digital age. He didn't stop there; he went on to create a successful healthcare software company, which he eventually sold...but did he retire to a life of leisure? No way! He shifted gears to consulting, offering his sage advice to anyone with a budget. However, Lincoln had another dream simmering beneath his tech-savvy exterior. Fueled by a love for the outdoors and a knack for reeling people in, he spearheaded the creation of the Montana Fly Fishing Lodge. This wasn’t just any lodge; it was built by him, on his family’s generational land—a place where Lincoln could blend his software development expertise with his passion for fly fishing. At the lodge, Lincoln brings together the magic of the land, a commitment to conservation, and a deep love for Absarokee, MT. Every guest leaves with a great catch, a heart full of stories, and if they’re lucky, a tall tale or two from Lincoln himself. Judi Powers-Reel Mastermind & Culinary Queen
Judi dedicated 32 years to the field of medicine, where she started as a Registered Nurse specializing in pediatric intensive care. She mastered the art of nurturing tiny humans and, eventually, leading entire healthcare organizations. Rising through the ranks, Judi became CEO and Executive VP at various healthcare entities, leaving her mark like a boss. But even in retirement, Judi’s passion for leading and nurturing others didn’t retire. She continues to mentor and guide aspiring leaders, probably while making them a cup of tea and giving them a pep talk. However, her true joy lies in the tranquility of the Lodge. Here, she's not just the head chef – she’s our culinary wizard. Chef Judi personally curates the menu, infusing it with local Montana flavors and a dash of her gourmet magic. Every dish she creates is a love letter to your taste buds, crafted with the same care and attention she gave to her patients and colleagues. So, when you’re at our Lodge, rest assured you’re in the hands of someone who’s as skilled in the kitchen as she was in the boardroom! |

Dani Willcoxson - Lead of Guest Delight
Dani Willcoxson, a self-proclaimed "Beagle enthusiast" (we suspect her furry friends might take issue with that title!), leads our Guest Delight team. Originally from California, Dani traded the sunshine for Montana's majestic outdoors after high school. Here, she thrives in Absarokee, embracing all that nature offers. Dani's true passion lies in exceptional service. She's instilled a deep sense of pride in our Lodge, taking the time to get to know each guest on a personal level. She listens intently, learning about families, hobbies, and those special details that craft unforgettable memories. You'll find Dani everywhere, her infectious enthusiasm a constant presence. Some might even joke she never leaves (but we assure you, she does!). She cannot wait to spend time with you! |

Danny Hanson - Maintenance Maestro
Danny Hanson is the Montana Fly Fishing Lodge's one-man maintenance marvel! This wrench-wielding wonder can fix a leaky faucet faster than a trout can snatch a fly. When he's not keeping the lodge running smoothly, you'll find Danny battling rapids on white-water adventures or disappearing into the backcountry on epic pack trips. A true outdoorsman and a dad of three, Danny's the undisputed king of fixing things and navigating the wild. So come on down to the lodge and put his skills to the test – just don't expect him to cast a fly (unless you want entertainment, not a fish)! |

Maddie Britt - Guest Experience Guru
Born in Bozeman, Maddie Britt cranked up her "mountain vibes" by moving to Absarokee for small-town life and big peaks. She also brought along two cats who act as her personal supervisors. At MFFL, Maddie is the go-to for everything from finding the best hiking trails to keeping your coffee hot. When she's not making adventures unforgettable, she’s rock climbing, backpacking, enjoying live music, or finding new wildflowers. Off-season? She's probably traveling the world. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Maddie also has your post-adventure muscles covered. Need a story, some TLC, or a smile? Maddie’s got you. |
